Seedling Nursery Program for Wetland Restoration

Nursery Cycle

January

   Clean can yard

   Clean yellow cells (soap & bleach)

   Plant seeds (pre-soak 48 hours)

Spring and Summer

   Monitor seedling growth

   Check irrigation system

   Fertilize plants regularly

Late Fall

   Identify & coordinate planting date

   Prepare field trip information

   HAVE A GREAT PLANTING &
             LEARNING EXPERIENCE!!!

   Send planting photos to

                Dr. Blanchard

Early Fall

   Monitor seedling growth

   Check irrigation system

   Bump up plants to gallon tall pots

                (if appropriate)
